Teaching music is hard on both the body and the voice. The daily demands of singing and speaking 6+ hours a day can be taxing, especially when you first start teaching.
With 7 years in the classroom, plus 17 years leading a girls vocal ensemble, I understand what you are going through. I also have dealt with severe allergies and vocal nodules 3 times so I have learned some very valuable tricks over the years to help me get through the most demanding times of the year.
